Your adventure begins with a drive through the stunning tunnel of trees and a visit to an extinct lava tube that became a water blow hole. Natures power at its best.

The journey continues to the charming and historic town of Hanapepe, where you can walk the swinging bridge that crosses the Hanapepe River, and was built in 1912. Here you will also have an opportunity to do some shopping for locally made goods if you wish.

Around mid-morning we will make a must stop at one of our favorite local bakeries for fresh & delicious pastries.

It's time to head to the famous mini Grand Canyon of the Pacific. Here we will make 4 stops where you will have ample time to take pictures, breathe the fresh mountain air, and marvel at the beauty of Kauai.

For lunch we will offer you a selection from food trucks to restaurants in Waimea town. After lunch we will visit Captain Cook's landing in Waimea Bay, one of our only black sand beaches.

Take the day off from driving and let us show you Kauai through local eyes.

A local bakery, Poipu tunnel of trees, the Spouting Horn geyser, Hanapepe Valley lookout, 4 stops at the Waimea Canyon State Park; including the main lookout, and the Red waterfall. Also Historic Hanapepe town's swinging bridge and shopping (optional), and lunch TBA (price of food not included).
